KGS BBS Update!
Announcement to Karazenpo Go Shinjutsu Students and Schools:
On November 25, 2022 we suddenly lost Professor Michael S. Rash Sr., Head and Co-Founder of the KGS BBS, Karazenpo Go Shinjustu Black Belt Society. Professor Rash was the inheritor of the Karazenpo Go Shinjutsu, Hawaiian and Shaolin Kempo Method, founded by the late Sijo Victor “Sonny” Gascon. The effect of Gascon’s Karazenpo Go Shinjutsu has been felt around the world and helped to create several Kempo/Kenpo styles and develop amazing individuals of whom Sijo Gascon and Professor Rash would be very proud.
As senior members of the KGS BBS, we are continuing the efforts started by Professor Rash and Sijo Gascon to keep and preserve the system of Karazenpo Go Shinjutsu and the legacy of Sijo Sonny Gascon. We will continue their efforts, maintain the integrity, and advance the system as Professor Rash wished. In the coming weeks and months we will begin to accept applications to the KGS BBS for the purposes of maintaining the system, organizing, rebuilding and strengthening the family of schools throughout the world. Professor Rudy Duncan, Professor Jesse Dwire IV, and SiGung Ken Swan, will be the system authorities and main contacts going forward.
We welcome schools that teach the Karazenpo Go Shinjutsu system along with those derived from it such as the Shaolin Kempo/Kenpo systems, Villari’s Shaolin Kempo Karate, Cerio’s Kenpo, etc. Details for membership and subsequently recognized rank advancement in Karazenpo Go Shinjutsu and the KGS BBS will be coming in the weeks ahead and we look forward to connecting with those schools, instructors, and students.
Your Brothers in Martial Arts,
Professor Rudy Duncan
Professor Jesse Dwire IV
SiGung Ken Swan
